CTC To Support Customers Using DeskPOD for fast, accurate processor modeling

SANTA CLARA, California, and TOKYO, Japan-February 1, 2001 - Simpod Inc., an EDA company in the embedded systems verification space, today announced that it is partnering with ITOCHU Techno-Science Corporation ("CTC") of Tokyo, Japan.

CTC is acting as Simpod's distributor and agent in Japan and is providing sales and support for Simpod's DeskPOD™ product to companies involved in the design and verification of systems using popular microprocessors such as those from Motorola (NYSE:MOT), IBM (NYSE: IBM) and MIPS (NASDAQ: MIPS).
