Simpod Promotes Jason Andrews To VP Marketing

Santa Clara, California, August 28, 2000, - Simpod Inc., an EDA company in the embedded systems verification space, today announced that Jason Andrews has been appointed Vice President of Marketing. Mr. Andrews reports to Yiftach Tzori, Simpod's president. Andrews joined Simpod in 1999 and was previously a member of the company's technical staff.

Simpod improves electronic design verification with its hardware modeling system, DeskPOD™, and models for popular processors from IBM (NYSE: IBM), Motorola (NYSE: MOT) and MIPS (NASDAQ:MIPS, MIPSB). DeskPOD improves verification of embedded system designs by using the actual processor silicon to model designs faster and more accurately.

About Jason Andrews
Jason Andrews has worked in the EDA industry for companies such as Simulation Technologies, Summit Design and Simpod. Prior to this, he was an applications engineer for Cypress Semiconductor and a hardware design engineer for Tricord Systems. He holds an MSEE from the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis, MN) and a BSEE from The Citadel (Charleston, SC)...
